At
center stage in mankind’s history, are the lives of two baby
boys...
Mark
1:1-3 (NKJ)
1 The
beginning of the gospel
[GOOD NEWS]
of
Jesus Christ,
the Son
of God.
2 As it
is written in the Prophets
(written in
Mal 3:1):
“Behold
[LOOK AND SEE; LISTEN]…
I
(the Father
will) send
My
messenger
[ENVOY] –
(John)
before Your
face
(… Jesus),
who
will prepare Your way
before
You (… Jesus)."
3 "(John,
who will be…) The voice of one…
crying
[SHOUTING}
in the
wilderness:
'Prepare
[MAKE READY]
the way of the Lord;
make His paths straight
[LEVEL].'
"
the first ‘child-to-be’… will be the ‘way-maker’ for the second
the other child will be… the promised ‘Deliverer’ of mankind
Luke
1:26-45 (NKJ)

Now in the sixth month the angel Gabriel
(God is
great
)
was sent
by God to a city of Galilee named Nazareth,
27
to a virgin betrothed to a man whose name was Joseph,
of the
house of David.
The
virgin's name was Mary
(their
rebellion – the answer to…).
28
And having come in, the angel said to her,
"Rejoice,
highly favored one, the Lord is with you;
blessed are you among women!"

But when she saw him, she was troubled at his saying, and
considered what manner of greeting this was
(v.28).
faced with one of the most awesome beings in all creation…
she was troubled at what he
SAID
– now that’s some kind of girl

KEC saying – “Look Shiny, give me 3 scriptures!”)

Then the angel said to her, "Do not be afraid, Mary,
for you
have found favor with God.

"And behold, you will conceive in your womb
and bring
forth a Son, and shall call His name Jesus.
32
"He will be great, and will be called the Son of the Highest;
and the Lord God will give Him the throne of His father David.
and then came the original “Mission Impossible” request…
33
"And He
(your Son
– if you choose to accept this assignment)
will
reign over the house of Jacob forever,
and of
His kingdom there will be no end."

Then Mary said to the angel,
"How can
this be, since I do not know a man?"
35
And the angel answered and said to her,
"The Holy
Spirit will come upon you,
and the
power of the Highest will overshadow you;
therefore, also, that Holy One who is to be born
will be called the Son of God.
then, he let her know the Holy Spirit was in the ‘baby
business’…

"Now indeed, Elizabeth your relative
has also
conceived a son in her old age; and…
this
is now the sixth month for her who was called barren.
37
"For with God nothing will be impossible."
and then, based on 155 words from an angel…
that teenage Jewish girl told Gabriel – “Tell God I said…
OK!”

Then Mary said, "Behold the maidservant of the Lord!
Let it be
to me according to your word."
And
the angel
(his mission
accomplished) departed from her.

Now Mary arose in those days
and went
into the hill country with haste, to a city of Judah,
Mary didn’t have a NT lying around to see how all this works out
so, she went to the one person Gabriel told her about…
40
and entered the house of Zacharias and greeted Elizabeth.

it happened, when Elizabeth
HEARD
the greeting of Mary
that
the babe
(the future
John the Baptist) leaped in her womb
and
Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit.
and suddenly – Elizabeth began to prophecy over Mary
things she said in the next 3 verses – she had no way of knowing

Then she spoke out with a loud voice and said,
"Blessed
are you
(Mary)
among women,
and
blessed is the fruit of your womb
(Jesus)!
43
"But why is this granted to me,
that the
mother of my Lord should come to me?
44
"For indeed, as soon as
the VOICE
of your greeting sounded in my ears,
the babe
leaped in my womb for joy.
45
"Blessed is
she
(Mary, the
mother of Jesus)… who believed,
for there
WILL BE
a
fulfillment of those things –
which
were told her… from the Lord."
Elizabeth’s 6-month old unborn child – reacted to the anointing
on Mary and on the embryo in her womb… before
Elizabeth did
today, we have over-educated, ‘religious’ theologians, who
refuse…
after years of study, to accept – what a 6-month old fetus
knew
this message this morning is for two reasons…
part one… mankind is God’s greatest creation
(1) from the moment of conception we are two-part beings
(2) your spirit-man is alive from the moment of
birth
(3) children are often very sensitive to hearing
from God
(4) children in the womb are live human beings
(5) you call it what you want, God calls abortion
murder
part two…
in the coming revival God is going to use young people
(1) because… they will recognize and accept the
supernatural
(2) because… they are hungry for the truth about life
and God
(3) because… they aren’t resistant to
change, but thrive on it
(4) because… kids aren’t afraid to
RUN
with what they believe
(5) because… kids aren’t willing to sacrifice
ideals… for things
